Position Overview:
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Business Development Intern to help expand our network and build strong partnerships with universities and stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone passionate about research, relationship-building, and advancing equitable access to support systems for students.
Responsibilities:
- Research and compile a list of universities we currently work with and potential new partners.
- Identify key stakeholders at universities (e.g., Title IX coordinators, student affairs professionals).
- Develop a list of relevant conferences and events for Cloud IX to attend or present at.
- Assist in creating outreach strategies to introduce Cloud IX to new university contacts.
- Support grant development efforts by identifying opportunities, drafting proposals, and maintaining grant databases.
- Build a comprehensive “web of contacts” at target universities, including decision-makers and influencers.
Qualifications:
- Strong research and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in business development, higher education, or social impact initiatives.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (preferred but not required).
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
